Project Cycle Management & Evaluation

Demonstrating results of aid programmes and approaches is of core importance in today's international development cooperation. This has given evaluation a central role - it is promoted and advanced as a key tool for development effectiveness, transparency and accountability in policy-making, social and organisational learning.

SIPU International has expertise in a broad range of evaluation approaches and methodologies. Our evaluations are independent, reliable and provide evidence-based conclusions and recommendations. We have experience in conducting all from rapid assessments to large and complex evaluations using multi-disciplinary evaluation teams.

Through institutional memberships in evaluation societies such as IDEAS (International Development Evaluation Association) and EES (European Evaluation Society), engagement in evaluation networks, and a close collaboration with independent evaluation experts, SIPU International's ambition is to continuously improve and evolve in our evaluative work.

Examples of recent evaluation assignments:

•    Evaluation of the Swedish Strategy for Development Cooperation with Middle East and North Africa >>
•    Evaluation of Research on Norwegian Development Assistance >>
•    Evaluation of the MENA-OECD Initiative on Governance for Development >>
